The interesting thing is this means her older sisters *decided* that she needed to be this big for some reason.

I suspect she is large so that she can store food. Camponotus pennsylvanicus are related to "honeypot ants" and the larger ants can hold a lot of food in their social stomach. She's like a living smoothie truck for her sisters.

I have to use natural peanut butter but mix it is a real chore.

You need to internalize the idea that hypocrisy is not a meaningful accusation to the right. Of course they're hypocrites. That you are bound - by rules, standards, logic, human decency, some fundamental moral consistency, anything at all - and they are not? That is their conception of what power is, and why they seek it. So they can exercise power, without constraint, and you cannot.
That is the point.
