The HTTP-protocol is (also) a de facto layer-4 transport-layer-protocol.

It might have been intended to be a layer-7 application-layer-protocol, but — look at how people are using it.

Applications are built on top of the HTTP-protocol somewhat similarly to how people decades ago would have built applications on top of the TCP-protocol.

Even the Fediverse uses the HTTP-protocol in this way — as a layer-4 transport-layer-protocol.

I have heard 3 different people tell me a very similar story in the past week.

Despite their best efforts to their jobs every day, they're simply not allowed to.

The place they work at simply can't be bothered to "approve" something on the scale of weeks. One case it has been months.

지구 온난화로 감귤이 커지고, 잘 키운 농가는 이상할 정도로 높은 당도 귤이 나오고 있습니다. 이게 좋은 일만은 아닌게 너무 더워서 청소년 시기의 레드향이 막 터져나가고 그래요. 작년은 서귀포 레드향 절반 이상이 '폭발' 했습니다. 사이즈 대부터는 마트, 백화점이 선호하지 않아 큰 귤은 고품질이더라도 농가의 골치거리입니다.

Rozmohl se nám tu nepěkný nešvar. Sdílení přes xcancel.com tak, že z příspěvku sem napíšu půl věty a pokračuju třemi tečkami a odkazem na xcancel.com (x.com). Ne nepolezu tam ze dvou důvodů. Nebudu dělat traffic x.com a také xcancel.com není zařazena mezi důvěryhodné stránky. Tímto přidávám xcancel.com mezi blokované fráze. A opravdu se mi hnusí to vydírání třemi tečkami. Pokud to chcete sem napsat, napište to celé. Pokud to nechcete psát, vytvořte screenshot. Pokud jen chcete abych lezl na xcanel.com / x.com, tak jděte do ...

포스타입의 캐릭터 AI 챗(톡?) 서비스 런칭은 진짜 충격적인게... 아니 거기 1차/2차 창작물 글 그림 올라오는데잖아. 결국 이용자의 관심이나, 시선, 시간을 놓고 인간 창작자하고 AI 그림, 글, 캐릭터가 경쟁하는 모양새가 되는데, 분명히 다른 사람 괴롭힐 용도로 님 AI보다 그림 못 그리네요. AI보다 재미없네요. 같은 반응이 있을 거다. 차라리 별도 사업으로 런칭했으면 욕은 덜 먹었을 것. 그 동안 올라온 글도 AI 밥으로 안 쓴다면서.

Think I'm about ready to setup and migrate to a small personal instance. Right now I'm stuck trying to decide what subdomain would be most clever/funny to use along with my heavy.rocks domain. This is always the hardest part. I guess the straightforward answer is snac.heavy.rocks. But that doesn't feel fun enough.

무인기기로 돌아가는 카페는 안 감. 내가 무인으로 음료 만드는 기기 관리를 했다가 개빡세고 손목에 지금 아직까지도 돌맹이 같은 게 생겨서 안 사라지는데 저거 위생적이라기에도 좀 그럼. 차라리 사람이 직접 만들고 관리하는 게 위생이 더 좋은데 무인기기는 기기 관리 외에는 터치를 안 하기 때문에 추천하기도 싫을 정도임... (그 기기 관리 때문에 양손 건초염에 오른쪽 손목에 돌맹이 생긴 걸 생각하면 분노가 차오를 정도)
