뭐 혐중맨들이 곧잘 "나는 중국이 좋다 그래서 중국이 더 많았으면 좋겠다" 하면서 뭔 지도를 붙여놓고 그러던데 그 구도에 더 가까워보이는건 중국보다 미국인 것 같다. 그리고 어쩌면 그런 미국s이 있는 지구가 지금보다 나을지도 모른다는 생각이 전혀 안 드는 것도 아니다. 막말로 지금 연방정부가 미국인과 세계에게 도움이 되냐 해가 되냐, 는 제법 자명한 문제이지 않은가.

it seems to help to show it example of a good graph (like yours from deciduous development itself). overall i think the task decomposes into - how to find pivotal commits (landmarks) - how to find threads of related commits - how to keep track of what’s done - turning commit threads into stories

common failure modes are - missing a bunch of important commits (granted, i want it to find important ones from thousands so it does require a bit of strategy) - forgetting to follow up on commits it discovered - making unnatural graphs that are too linear and fail to tell the story

this basically works out of the box even without explaining much on small repos. but with big repos it gets lost or creates shitty graphs. so i’m trying to figure out why that happens and how to make it work well at scale. relatively optimistic about adversarial approach (critic critiques the graph)
