Of a downside. Another variant of this sort of thing I’m interested in is the global view, like the guardian said earlier this year that anxiety around this stuff is way higher in English speaking countries specifically. I want to know more about that too.

This is a trap: while the code works within its parameters, its internal model is incoherent. When it inevitably fails, the incoherent basis for debugging or correction will lead to additional 'epicycles' being added. This process increases system complexity and brittleness.

지금까지 저와 주변 사람들을 모니터링하고 관찰하고 지레짐작한 결과, 안 읽을 책을 쌓아놓는 사람들은 사실은 안 살 게임도 쌓아놓고 안 쓸 잉크도 쌓아놓고 (…잉크를 쌓을 수가 있나?) 안 먹을 음식도 냉동실에 쌓아두고 인터넷 즐겨찾기도 SNS의 북마크함도 잔뜩 쌓아놓는 그런 성향이 있는 것 같다는 생각을 하곤 해요.

의안원문 올라옴. 일단 정의에 성 정체성도 포함되어 있습니다. 인종, 국적, 민족, 성 정체성, 성적 지향, 종교 모두 범위에 포함되어 있구요. 성별의 정의도 남녀에만 국한되지 않고 "그 외의 분류할 수 없는 성"도 명확히 포함시켰습니다. 소수 우대 정책(affirmative action)은 허용하는 예외조항도 두어서 차금법이 악용되는 사례도 막았군요. 다만 법 이름이 법 이름("양성"평등기본법)이라서 그런지 차별시정정책위원회 구성 항목에 양성평등 문구가 보이는 건 살짝 아쉬운 편 ("양성평등"에 관한 전문지식).
