Je ne le connaissais pas. Je l’ai découvert à l’exposition Le Design au service du Handicap organisée par l’association Arty Co.

Télécommandes, sous-titres, livres audio, pailles, épluche-légumes, SMS… Ces innovations sont d’abord pensées pour les personnes handicapées avant d’être adoptées par tout le monde.

Il y a des inventions qui, à l’origine, ont été imaginées pour répondre aux besoins spécifiques des personnes handicapées, avant de devenir des outils du quotidien pour tout le monde. Les SMS, la télécommande, les livres audio, les pailles, les épluche-légumes… La liste est longue. Ces produits illustrent parfaitement ce qu’on appelle l’effet du trottoir abaissé (curb-cut effect), un concept que j’ai découvert lors de l’exposition ArtyCo, où j’ai eu l’occasion d’intervenir sur les enjeux de l’accessibilité numérique.

ICE keeps kidnapping people I know, or that my family knows in Minneapolis. Today they took the father of my great niece’s boyfriend for no reason. The mom and two boys are afraid they’re next.

This couple has been together for over 30 years. Now she doesn’t know where her husband even is. Imagine that.

I don’t post about my service work much, but the LA Homeless Services Authority needs more volunteers for our annual Street Count next week!

It takes place from January 20th to the 22nd, depending on where you live, and only takes a few hours of your time. It's SUPER easy to do and is a direct way to make an impact on those in your community.

아 Qt ... 기업에서 사용하려면 라이센스가 어쩌고 해서 영업팀 만나서 미팅했는데, 이거 너무 심하게 뜯어가는 것 같다. 주는 건 하나도 없는데, 좀 과한 느낌. 리눅스 GUI 제품개발에서는 Qt 가 독점업체라고 봐되 되는 거려나. 일단 대체재 좀 찾아봐야겠다.

영광의 빛이 피어오른다. 거대한 스테인드글라스를 뚫고 들어오는 오색의 찬란한 빛은 마치 신의 위광을 상징하는 것만 같다. 그 아름다움은 어떤 더러움도 깨끗게 할 신의 사랑을 닮아 있었다. 대성당의 대회랑. 그곳은 장엄함의 상징. 묵직한 고요와 정적이 실내를 감싸고, 곧 성도들의 웅장하면서도 경건한 합창이 울려퍼질듯 하다. 신의 순수와 닮은 백색의 실내 전체가 자체로 빛을 뿜어내는 듯 하며, 금색의 제구들이 제단 위에서 의식의 사용되어질 순간을 숨죽이며 기다리고 있었다. 성스러움이라는 단어를 그대로 풀어낸 듯한 공간. 그 무엇도 이 아름다움을 침범할 수 없으리. "웃기지도 않는군요." 검은 섬광이 작렬한다. 대회랑의 입구. 천정부터 바닥까지를 일도양단한 섬광의 뒤를 따라 어마어마한 굉음과 잿빛의 먼지가 훅 끼쳤다. 그 사이에서 튕겨져나온 것은 검은 수단의 신부. 때묻지 않은 백발 아래 일렁이는 푸른빛은 불안과 혼란에 감싸여 있었다. 붉은 융단에 아슬하게 안착한 신부는 바닥을 짚은 손으

勘違いしてはいけないこと 　よく勘違いされていますが、地方職員は別に選挙をするなとは思っていないはずです。少なくとも僕は思っていません。選挙があると、業務量が増えてウハウハですからね。大体はタイミングに原因があります。前回の衆院選も解散時期がいつまでも決まらず、選管は準備にバタバタさせられたものです。 　だが、こういったことは地方は別に慣れっこであります。別に国に限らず、県・自前選挙どちらも急にあるといえばあります。地方の職員はまあ多少の不満は言うでしょうが、なんやかんやでやりとげるんですよ。 問題はそこではない 　自治体情報システム標準化というものがあります。知らない人はいない
