메르헨님 이야기처럼 진짜 사형을 시킬 생각은 아무도 하고 있지 않을 거에요. 하지만 독재를 위해 내란을 일으킨 범죄자에게 "사형"이라는 형벌을 내리는 것은 그 자체로도 의미가 있어서 그래요. 그리고... 그 사람이 다시는 사회에 나오지 못한다는 장점도 있고요.
メルヘン様のお話のように、実際に死刑を執行するつもりは誰も持っていません。しかし、独裁のために内乱を起こした犯罪者に「死刑」という刑罰を下すこと自体に意味があるのです。そして…その人物が二度と社会に出られないという利点もあります。

If you're looking to help with Arcalibre development, it's now a bit easier to do so! The rereading/pyreading repo on Codeberg builds two Python packages that are used by Arcalibre, but that can be developed, built, and tested separately from any other Arcalibre code.

They're both Maturin-based, using Python to wrap some Rust logic so that it can be used with only glibc as a runtime dependency.

Follow-up search for a tentative dark photon signal near $19.5\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{\ensuremath{\mu}}\mathrm{eV}$ using the ORGAN-Q infrastructure

A recent independent dark photon (DP) focused reanalysis of existing data from the TASEH axion haloscope experiment reported a tentative DP dark matter signal with local significance $\ensuremath{\sim}4.7\ensuremath{\sigma}$ at a frequency $f\ensuremath{\approx}4.71\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GHz}$, corresponding to ${m}_{X}\ensuremath{\approx}19.5\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{\ensuremath{\mu}}\mathrm{eV}$ and kinetic mixing $ϵ\ensuremath{\sim}6.5\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}15}$. Motivated by this report, we performed a dedicated, narrowband follow-up experiment to confirm or refute the signal with a cryogenic microwave cavity operated without a magnetic field, leveraging the ORGAN-Q dilution refrigeration and receiver chain. Scanning a window centered on the reported frequency over a live time of ${T}_{\mathrm{int}}\ensuremath{\sim}13\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{days}$, we find no excess consistent with a dark photon signal as reported, and set a 95% CL of $ϵ\ensuremath{\le}5.04\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}15}$ in a narrow mass range around $\ensuremath{\sim}19.5\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{\ensuremath{\mu}}\mathrm{eV}$, excluding a signal of the strength and frequency reported to 99.92% confidence. We discuss the experiment and present the exclusion limits.
