今天是弟媳產後D23，在昨天外出用餐的美麗閒暇之後，我們又回到日常。今天我請求弟弟和弟媳幫我看一組超貴的德國品牌輪針組；主要是在附近的手作店舖沒看到架上有陳列，我就改打網購的主意，發現手作店的官網雖然有賣，但價格是€189和台灣售價沒差很多，網路上有其他商店賣到€148這樣的低價，請弟媳幫我確認應該不是詐騙網站（她的德文比我弟又好上不少，也在慕尼黑生活更久，更懂這裡的「民情」）後，我就請弟弟幫我下單。弟弟很阿莎力地刷了他的卡，說算是對我的感謝之情。
來這裡後，我常想這個問題：負責大部分家務的那個家人，要如何才能不覺得自己被當成幫傭？而當那麼多人說會將幫傭當成家人，又是怎樣才真正讓人感到「被當成家人」？在我來之前，弟弟就曾訴說負責每日餐食是多麼辛苦，我實際參與後，覺得廚房工作真的讓人感到一整天彷彿都在為了「吃」這件事在勞動，而一個飄飄然忘了想「下一餐是什麼」，就會讓生活節奏掉拍。（今天中午我就因為忘記準備，買了麥當勞來吃）在外食、外送如此昂貴的國度，家務的計價應該更高，因為負擔確實更重。
台灣的便宜人力讓家務更容易外包，這裡的昂貴人力卻迫使人們更花時間在生活。

艾未未回国后那篇访谈看得我在工位上爆笑——红红火火恍恍惚惚这也太大实话了。我原来不想承认，现在却基本上能接受了，人的政治立场问题很多时候就是处境问题，真的不必把它上升到道德和人品。
为什么有些人由缓转品了呢？因为前期不被社会善待所以反了，反着反着展现出统战价值，就被收编了，尝到了经济上的甜头后自然不会再叛逆。
同时，为什么有些人能一直反呢？因为姿态已经做到骑虎难下了，自己的名誉、社交圈、乃至经济来源也全部和反叛者身份绑定，回归岁静生活后就空虚寂寞无人问津，不得不一条路走到黑。
也有一些人，本可以选择相对平安优渥的生活，却为公众事务付出太多太多的代价了，例如hk的周庭。她现在最大的梦想只是在加拿大当一个能好好上学逛街拍照、不必每日担惊受怕的普通女大而已……这是太好理解的事情。

This unprecedented move is yet another middle finger to Venezuelan sovereignty and once again raises questions about the president’s cozy relationship with the Qatari government.
“There is no basis in law for a president to set up an offshore account that he controls so that he can sell assets seized by the American military,” Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren told Semafor. “That is precisely a move that a corrupt politician would be attracted to.”
That seems to be exactly what Trump is doing. Trump has vowed to “indefinitely” control Venezuela’s oil, claiming the proceeds will be given back to the U.S. and Venezuela.
Still, it remains unclear just how that money held in Qatar will benefit the Venezuelan people the administration claims to care about.'

Profilers measure the performance of a whole program to identify where most of the time is spent. But once you’ve found a target function, re-profiling the whole program to see if your changes helped can be slow and cumbersome. The profiler introduces overhead to execution and you have to pick out the stats for the one function you care about from the report. I have often gone through this loop while optimizing client or open source projects, such as when I optimized Django’s system checks framework (previous post).
