I'm not tired of Pixelfed.

Pixelfed is my baby, a huge part of my life, and why I'm still here on the fedi.

Just because I took a well deserved break from daily dev of 7 years (to work on Loops, not just sit around), doesn't mean I forgot or don't care about it.

I'll prove it to you.

I have quite the history of delivering on promises, even if they take a bit longer than expected.

Maintaining a whole fediverse platform yourself (app/web) is rare in the fedi, but to do it twice is magic ✨ 😎

@dansup I don’t regret for a second having supported your kickstarter campaign. It wasn’t much, I know, but it was what I could.
But the fact that you are visibly tired of Pixelfed after all this years doing that, makes me not regret the past but having to be realistic about the future.
I honestly wish you all the best regarding loops, but that’s not for me.
And just to be clear, that doesn’t change a bit the huge respect that I have for your effort all this time regarding PF

I'm more excited than ever, I'm actively working on a major UI improvement and plenty of backend updates that will bring Pixelfed into the future, a real alternative to Instagram, Flickr, 500px and more.

Just because I spent a good vacation away from Pixelfed (well deserved IMO), I've learned so much from Loops, and can't wait to make Pixelfed shine even brighter.

I've seen doubt before. I proved them wrong.

Pixelfed is my baby. You'll see ❤️

이미 지나간 토픽 : 지금 와서의 메뉴 아이콘은 강조의 의미라기 보다는 텍스트와 하나로 묶인 독해성(뭐라 표현해야 할지 모르겠는데 읽히는?) 요소에 가까워요. 이미 디지털 UI는 색도 아이콘도 없이 본질만 표현해보는 단계까지 한번 찍어보고 왔고.. 결과적으로 최근은 정서적인 교감이 있는 것이(단순한 것보다는 맥락에 맞게 눈에 띄는 것이) 보편적으로 이해하기 편하다는 견해가 주류인 것으로 알고 있슴니다
