I don't even know how much time I've spent in Ollie's Arcade over the years. I've never been all that interested in gaming, but the visual design here is just so good: imaginative, fun, and colorful. Classic Iconfactory—iOS design at its best.

This would be worth it just for the new game alone, but the fact that they want to make Ollie's Arcade free is a gift to the iOS community. Didn't have to think twice about backing this one.

Let's say that NATO wanted to do a preëmptive attack to seize some US territory in anticipation of an invasion of Greenland. (Holding a territorial bargaining chip is a great way to get your territory back at the end of the conflict. Also, the US public is not used to having the homeland occupied, and would not be willing to live with a loss of territory for very long.)

i like to make websites and I've been slowly realizing that my requirements for making websites might be a little weird

- I have maybe 20 websites (mostly static but not all)
- I want to spend basically 0 time maintaining them, maybe 5 minutes every 2 months at most
- I need to be able to ignore a project for 3 years and then come back and be able to develop it easily

i feel like all of this stuff makes my choice of tech stack different than if I worked on one site full-time

I just learned that in Norway and Sweden, they make soup out of dried fruits. I think they need to make up their minds about whether they want these fruits to be wet or not.

The last couple of days have been relatively quiet in Minneapolis. ICE seems to have been much less active in the city, though everyone (including me) is sort of afraid to talk about that too much lest we jinx it.

They seem to have been more active in the suburbs, and maybe that’s all it is: a geographic shift.

Maybe the cold is keeping them inside. (A bunch of them are from places like TX and VA, and I’m sure they don’t know how to dress.)

The NASA forecast shows it as far up north as yesternight but more more intense. So.. good chances? Or did they underestimate yesternight and correct today, so bad?
