For those not familiar, Nunavut is a Canadian territory encompassing most of the Canadian Arctic including Baffin Island where its capital, Iqaluit, is located.

There are deep historic and ancestral ties, but also very current familial ties between Greenlander and Canadian Inuit peoples. There are international flights between Iqaluit and Nuuk.
