伊朗近期爆發反政府示威並引發多地衝突。伊朗「烈士與退伍軍人事務基金會」周三（21日）發聲明，首次對外公布死亡統計，指在近日示威相關事件中，共有3,117人喪生，其中2,427人為普通民眾及執法人員。

不過，相關數字與國際人權組織統計存在明顯落差。總部設於美國的人權活動家新聞通訊社（Human Rights Activists News Agency，HRANA）表示，經核實在本輪示威浪潮中共有4,519人死亡，死者包括4,251名示威者、197名安全人員、35名18歲以下人士，以及38名被指並非示威者或安全人員的旁觀者；另有9,049宗死亡案例仍在核實。

此外，路透社亦引述伊朗官員稱，政府已證實在示威期間至少5,000人死亡，其中約500人為安全人員。

伊朗國家安全委員會同日發聲明，批評示威屬「有組織的煽動」，形容事件性質近似極端組織「伊斯蘭國」（ISIS）的恐怖行為，又指騷亂期間有「恐怖分子」使用槍械襲擊安全部隊及執法人員。
