Rather than implementing the critical state resolution algorithm that's the core of Matrix, they just directly insert the latest state into the database. That'll instantly lead to diverging views of the room and incompatibility with every other implementation - and it's also a massive security hole.
Oh and to top things off, they make trivially false claims in their post. Tuwunel and its predecessors do not and have never used Postgres or Redis.
Let me just pick a few examples from the code, because this is so bad

there is one task at work that is genuinely far far easier when using a chatty AI bot but that's only because they somehow made it practically impossible to book half a day off in the non-chatty UI. They must have vibe coded the booking form.

@jtonline My favorite is how Microsoft keeps burying tools further behind layers of "please use copilot". It now takes 5 clicks to get to my work. And for the lols I periodically ask Copilot to help me do the task Im trying to do instead, whereat it tells me it's not capable of doing said task 😆😵💫
This has instead resulted in me provoking a genuine interest among my exec team to explore just replacing Windows with Linux. Thanks copilot!
