Still hard at work on content for the Steam page 😅

Spent this week working on code mechanics and making cats for the demo. Almost done with the models, just 2.5 left to go

Can't show the full cast yet, but here are two fluffy freelancers based on concepts by a follower. They are working hard.. or at least pretending to, just like real cats 🐱💻

Imagine if every AI data centre was a library. Full of readers of every age and demographic, reading everything and anything - romantic bestsellers, pop science, reference books, magazines and newspapers, the poetry and philosophy of every culture imaginable. People exercising their actual intelligence, thinking for themselves rather than generating endless slop.

Then consider who would be most scared by this.

RE: ps.s10y.eu/@NGI_TALER/11597905

How dependent is Europe on US tech giants for core digital infrastructure like the Digital Euro?
In Das Parlament, Prof. Christian Grothoff warns:
🛑 As long as it’s built on proprietary tech digital sovereignty remains an illusion.
✅ The answer? Critical public infrastructure must be built on Free Software.

[立院藍白通過將民眾黨團國防特別條例付委 封殺政院版⸺中央社](cna.com.tw/news/aipl/202601300)

//不意外。2028年之前台灣買不到軍備了。

RE: social.heise.de/@heiseonlineen

Somewhat unsurprised. I increasingly feel that remaking iconic old games is a bad idea and nostalgia alone cannot be used to justify it.

Make the original game available for sale again instead. Make it easily accessible on modern machines so that younger players have a chance to try it out, and older ones can pick it up even if they don't have the skills to setup an emulator.
