The two weeks before a launch, it is SOP for NASA astronauts to wear respirators and avoid crowds so that they don't jeopardize the mission with an illness. What do you do before your big events? Do you take care to protect yourself and others? Or do you just wing it and hope you don't get yourself or others sick at the event?

Astronaut jeremy Hanson posted a photo of himself meeting with others at NASA in respirators. he posted, "Reviewing a few emergency medical procedures with CSA Flight Surgeons today, hopefully this will ensure I don’t need these skills on the mission."

Have I Been Pwned: Panera Bread Data Breach

In January 2026, Panera Bread suffered a data breach that exposed 14M records. After an attempted extortion failed, the attackers published the data publicly, which included 5.1M unique email addresses along with associated account information such as names, phone numbers and physical addresses. Panera Bread subsequently confirmed that "the data involved is contact information" and that authorities were notified.
