I've never been a big proponent of the idea that America has fallen to a fascist regime because "foreign adversaries are running Trump like an asset." The Journal’s sources say that the complaint is so classified that no one in the US Congress has even laid eyes on it, as disclosure of its contents could cause “grave damage to national security.”
So, let me get this straight - a whistleblower has filed a complaint, AGAINST Gabbard, that is literally so top secret nobody is allowed to even READ the complaint, and the person in charge of dealing with this is... Gabbard... and she has sat on it for eight months?
Having a hard time imaging what, SHORT of foreign interference in American politics and or "treason" this would be. Please remember this is an administration that has responded to bribery by saying "yeah thanks, love the bribes" completely in the open. So they aren't hiding "Gabbard took some money" because they don't hide that. Whatever it is, is worse than that.

For TTC reasons, I wound up walking outside more than usual this morning and it was quite nice, I didn't even bother putting my hoodie's hood up¹. I assumed it was because we'd warmed up to just below freezing, but when I checked it was still -10C. Which just goes to show how much difference sunshine and the lack of wind can make.
¹ I was wearing a fleece cap (with ear covers), because I'm not that hardcore. The hoodie hood is just extra insulation, and I sure needed it last week.

At this year's #fosdem were many urgent calls to save #democracy (e.g. by 
@RichiHRichard "RichiH" Hartmann), yet we don't even deal with fascist tendencies in our communities.
Mostly men™ with authoritarian behaviours, using their positions of [limited] power to oppress and only know escalation, no dialogue.
Start taking action by stand up against unacceptable behavior more, correct your friends and colleagues when they have their shitty, unnecessary power trips.

First and foremost, alt text must always be informative and descriptive of the content in the image. It can have character and humor, but it still needs to be informative and descriptive. Alt text is not a place to add easter eggs or jokes for sighted users.

As someone who was a true devotee of FutureWave SmartSketch (which became FutureSplash Animator, which became Macromedia Shockwave Flash, which became Adobe Flash, which became Adobe Animator) my sorrow is incalculable. Every day I long for software I had in the 90s which I can't find anything as good as today.
