SPC 직원의 반죽기계 끼임 사고 이후로, 직원들의 피 위에서 돈버는 기업은 최대한 사용하지 않겠다 결심했다. 그런데 쿠팡의 발 아래 고여있는 직원들의 피는 SPC의 그것을 훨씬 초월하는거 같아서 끔찍하기만 하다. 게다가 들려오는 얘기들을 보면, 언제 피를 더 흘려도 이상하지 않을 정도니... 개인정보 유출 사태는 트리거였을 뿐, 언잰가는 댓가를 치를 기업이었다는 생각 뿐이다. [contains quote post or other embedded content]

for your example: - limiting content types, lengths is done by lexicon. that’s easy - “one post per day” is something you can enforce on ingestion (your backend could choose to ignore more posts) but you can’t prevent people from writing them to pds - following “from their network” sounds dubious

an example of product-baked limitation: bluesky app (afaik) won’t take into account edits done to posts on pds after a certain point (not sure if it’s after a time period or some other metric). but it doesn’t prevent edits on PDS (it can’t), it just doesn’t sync them into its database.

so i don’t think a notion of “on external network” is helpful here. the app should be hosting-agnostic and keep working regardless of where the PDS is. it’s not something the user should worry about the app can enforce limitations while ingesting data but it can’t/shouldn’t fight with other apps.
