다만 이런 공포론은 번지수를 잘못 짚은 것으로 보인다. 우선, 몰트북의 SF 같은 포스트들이 봇의 자발적 생성인지, 아니면 인간 사용자가 오픈클로(OpenClaw) 에이전트에게 시킨 결과인지가 불분명하다. 오픈클로는 AI 에이전트가 소프트웨어 도구를 사용하게 해주는 오픈소스 도구다. 심지어 봇인 척하는 인간이 쓴 글일 가능성도 있다.

둘째로, 봇들이 사악한 음모를 꾸민다는 증거도 없다. 그저 학습 데이터에 들어 있는 SF 소설이나 인간들의 수상쩍은 SNS 활동을 흉내 내는 것뿐이다. 2017년 페이스북 실험 당시 챗봇들이 ‘비밀 언어’를 만들었다는 소동과 비슷하다. 그때나 지금이나 일부 언론은 자극적인 기사를 위해 팩트를 뒤로 미루곤 한다. 몰트북은 ‘스카이넷’ 같은 위험과는 거리가 멀다. https://www.fortunekorea.co.kr/news/articleView.html?idxno=51549
