We're investigating European-based Patreon alternatives. Does anyone have any experience with any of them? We're looking at Steady but it appears that they process their payments through Paypal which kinda defeats the point of trying to use a European platform...

We recently came across an amazing project called uBlockOrigin & uBlacklist Huge AI Blocklist.
As they describe it, it's:
A huge blocklist of manually curated sites (1000+) that contain AI generated content, for the purposes of cleaning image search engines (Google Search, DuckDuckGo, and Bing) with uBlock Origin or uBlacklist.
There's something really lovely at the top of the uBlock Origin filter list, just under the description, that brought us a small bit of very-much-needed joy, and we wanted to share it here with others 🫶

The horizontality of our mutual aid networks makes them opaque to the feds while enabling them to feed, clothe, and care for vulnerable families. No official organization would ever dare to call for the countless acts of bravery by which individuals have collectively propelled this movement forward. The everyday anarchism of the Minneapolis revolution is its greatest strength.
To the extent that we allow top-down forces to take control of the movement, we will compromise its structural integrity and set ourselves up to lose. With so much on the line, we can’t afford to let that happen."
