Yes, the list of negotiating points is tougher than it would have been without the absolute outrage from folks like us. And sure, it is hard for establishment figures like Jeffries and Schumer to propose the sort of sweeping personnel changes that are in fact a precondition of changing these agencies.

But with a lawless Executive branch and a Congress that has abdicated meaningful oversight, much stronger measures have to be what Democrats bargain for. 5/5

Hello CoSocial.ca! Just joined this server. I've been on Mastodon since 2017, on different servers. I'm also currently at hcommons.social/deck/@chendric (though I may migrate from there to here soon to transfer followers).
