I agree with this. I'm kind of ashamed to say I agree with this because I am not sure it's going to be effective. And I want to expand my circle of empathy, to consider these folks as fellow technologists just trying to make something work. Nobody gets security perfect on the first try. We shouldn't be mean about failure.
But there's failure and then there's dangerous negligence. The absolute abdication of basic critical thinking throughout the industry is honestly _shocking_ right now.

We are currently struggling with database performance and investigating.
Tonight, we shipped a new server to the datacenter and started restoring Galera cluster on the node (since the hardware breakage last week, we were running on 2/3 nodes only).
We are not yet sure what is causing the sudden performance drop.
It’s really a shame 9p2000 never got a properly registered RFC at the IETF. None of the documents on it are maintained or even close to complete. Kinda want to write a 9p server for CouchDB because http kinda sucks. Imagine paging through results just reading lines from a file?
