Been using @atproto/lex a lot lately and it feels really good to use. The cli install feature is a really nice touch. All the extra validation is taking a bit to get used to, but using a full nsid as a type to something like a .get feels right

Well, I did it. I hit the fediverse hard this time. For those of you who don't know who I am, I am Jaida Corvera, a bigender asexual libertarian socialist (read anarcho-communist adjacent) from the Heartland of America.

In 2023, I escaped a high-control church associated with 9Marks, a parachurch organization that invests power into power-hungry men and corrupts independent Reformed churches into cults, where membership and discipline are high marks of a church, rather than service and acceptance towards others. Today, I call myself an Episcopalian and attend a local Episcopal parish in my area, as well as serve as a chorister and as a part of their IT team.

My beliefs aren't as rigid as they used to be. Over the years, I have come to accept myself as a wonderful being, given the gracious opportunity to craft myself how I see myself, spiritually and physically.

My radicalization, I think, is a rather interesting process. I grew up in a conservative house. However. I had always leaned a little to the left. After being dragged to D'souza's "2016: Obama's America", a small spark of anti-government began to grow in me. After looking into the Libertarian party, I began to realize that it was not all it was talked up to be. I grew politically apathetic, bouncing from centrist party to centrist party until I came to understand myself with my gender and sexual identity. Realizing the woes of the world was both the economic system, which oppressed us all, and the government which protects it, I turned toward Marx, only to find agreement in the works of Pannekoek, Goldman, Berkman, and of course, beard daddy Kropotkin (and his statement on the Knave).

Today, I feel like a modern day Cassandra of Troy, pointing out the warning signs either to the choir or to people who don't understand.
