私が「変えられる」ことを実感として知ってるのは、公立の学校に通ったことがないからかもしれない。中学まで行った朝鮮学校もゆるかったし、その後行った私立高校も結構自由だった。高校の文化祭で、教室内に段ボールで作った壁を吊りたいと彫刻の教科担任兼クラス担任の先生に相談したら、しーって言いながら梁にドリルで穴開け出したのは衝撃だった。

여전히 너무 무겁고 비효율적이고 석탄을 많이 쳐먹기땜시... 그리고 저희는 알죠 그뒤로 1-200년의 시간이 걸리면서 온갖 일이 일어나면서 개선이 된것을 알고 있습니다 (..) 그리고 그 와중에 주식시장 거품이 일어났다가 터졌고 수많은 전쟁이 일어났고 등등... 이런 변화는 인류가 처음 겪는 상황이 아니라는것입죠; 아마 우여곡절이 있겠지만 AI와 산업 그리고 사회도 비슷한 방향을 겪으면서 진행될것이라고 예상합니다. 다만 기존에는 300년 걸렸지만 이번에는 30-50년 걸리겠죠;;; 이제 시작인것임다...
제가 감귤님 떡밥(?)을 물어보면... 저는 지금은 1700년대의 토머스 뉴커먼과 제임스 와트가 증기기관을 처음 선보이고 산업화한 시기와 비슷한다고 생각함다; 기존에 없었던 신박하게 최초로 돌아가는 자동 동력 장치가 나왔고 이제 막 효율을 개선해서 산업에 이곳저곳에 많이 넣는 단계까지 온거죠 그래서 사람들 눈이 돌아가서 돈을 쳐붓는 시기가 온것인데요 근데 많이들 아시다시피 이걸 실제 증기 기관차와 자동차까지 넣는데는 시간이 상당히 걸렸습니다;;

Given that I personally remember people being excited that bitcoin had reached the mark of one (1) dollar, the term “historic lows” to describe returning to the state of things slightly over one year ago is rather telling about the tech industry’s lack of perspective and cultural memory…
