민주주의가 제대로 굴러가려면, 일단 주권자가 적극적으로 주인노릇을 해야 한다. 정치판이 왜 저렇게 굴러가냐고 타자화하고 답답해하는 대신, 현재 상황을 평가하고 지금 내가 정치의 주체이자 주권자로서 무슨 "통치행위"를 해야 하는지 결정해야만 한다. 사람 개개인이 주인(主)으로서의 민(民)으로 행세하지 못한다면 민주(民主)라는 수식어는 공허할 뿐이다.

I'm starting to think I've found my way out the other side of burnout.

Hat tip to the "OMG AI WROTE A COMPILER" nonsense, which didn't surface until I was already getting back up to speed on my little compiler project, but that bullshit has definitely been motivational.

If nothing else, spitefully writing code myself and risking actually learning things along the way makes me smile.

As someone who still uses IRC daily please understand that telling people IRC is a replacement for Discord is utter nonsense

IRC does not
- let you post images or other files (DCC send doesn't count even if you somehow get it to work)
- show link previews
- do voice chat
- do screen sharing
- have offline messaging capability

Please stop saying IRC is an alternative to Discord. It's not. Or at best it's a very shitty alternative

If this is the actual future, I guess the way to go would be to actually write a technical and functional documentation with detailed requirements.

The goal would be to tweak it until 5 consecutive runs of the LLM will produce the same product.

The most frustrating part of contributing to software is when the reviewer does not understand the improvement and asks for elaboration a dozen times and you keep explaining it over and over again. 🧘
And then states that they are lacking resources for reviews, but still find the time to meticulously explain how they do not see a benefit and thus hold back.
