free open source software needs fewer engineers and more designers and product people
With all the recent discord shenanigans I finally decided to consider Matrix a whole lot more.
Therefore I've made my own synapse instance fully running at home (that is mostly a test to see if more services could be hosted at my place) to replace discord little by little.
It's not gonna replace my usage of discord entirely for now, but I hope it will with some time.

By the way, I'm not giving them 90 days this time.
Last time I did that, they didn't bother to actually fix anything, so they didn't actually need any of that time. So they lost that privilege.
