⚠️ Update due to Security issue ⚠️

It is strongly recommended to do a "guix pull", update all profiles. Restart the Guix Daemon, on Guix System reboot.

A potential security issue was identified in Guix's glibc package which impacts the Guix Daemon when run in privileged mode.

Anyone who has been following me for a while will have noticed that there was a phase where I didn't feel like doing anything with art anymore because of all the AI crap that takes away the fun.

Well, that phase was relatively short, and the reason for that is @pixelAndy, who talked to me about it very intensively and convinced me to continue making art!

End of story, I'm into it again and publishing a lot.

Hot take, so controversial it counts as trolling: all notifications should default "off". Anything that can interrupt or distract the person using a computer or other device should be explicitly turned on by that person.

There are exceptions for things that can cause serious harm if ignored. "You've got mail" is not an exception. Neither is "someone liked your social media post".

Trying out elementary OS for a proper review and seeing Gtk4/Libadwaita applications inside the beautiful Granite of elementary is so jarring. An inconsistent interface reduces usability. This isn't elementary's fault - the entire Gtk/GNOME ecosystem decided to kill theming, which is their perogative and don't you fucking dare attack them for it - but the end result is still what it is.

I'll keep saying it: theming is accessibility.

청와대 직원들이 조간신문 나오는 -이것부터가 잘못되었다. 요즘 세상에 신문 인쇄가 업무 기준이라니 - 새벽 5시 30분에 출근해서 일러야 밤 10시쯤 퇴근하고, 주 6일제에 토/일도 실질적으로 당번제로 출근하고 있다고 함. 어느 분 표현이 적절하다 싶어 가져옵니다 "그리고 이 중노동을 근거로 이후 승진, 공천, 각종 이권들을 요구할게 예상되고 그런 보상이라도 주어져야겠다는 논리를 들이밀텐데 이게 과연 좋기만 한 일일지 벌써 걱정입니다."

The idea is to use Django ORM in standalone mode to connect to existing or legacy databases and work only with the ORM, without the rest of Django, using inspectdb for reverse engineering the schema and querying data with Django QuerySets 🔎
