회사 동료분들과 점심을 먹으러 갈 일이 생겼는데, 버거를 먹기 좋은 가게로 제안받아 가게 되었습니다.
이런 가게에 가게 되면 기본에 가까운 버거를 처음으로 먹어보게 되는데, 이 가게의 경우에는 점포 이름과 같은 베리비지버거입니다. 고기와 치즈, 빵, 피클과 양파로 된 심플한 구성인데, 그렇게 두껍지 않습니다. 비난처럼 들릴 수도 있겠지만 칭찬입니다: 샌드위치 정신을 지키는 수제버거가 많지 않은 세상이니 말이지요.
버거를 입에 물기 벅차다거나 내용물이 흐른다거나 하는 일 없이, 깔끔하고 압축적인 맛을 냅니다. 고기를 강하게 구운 편인데, 겉은 불맛을 느끼면서 내부도 적절하게 익어서 순전히 고기 패티를 즐겁게 먹을 수 있다고 할까요. 감자튀김은 무난하게 맛있었습니다.
이런 스타일의 버거를 좋아해서, 기회가 된다면 다른 3종의 버거도 모두 먹어보고 싶네요.
