It feels clear to me that some people* are getting value out of using LLMs for programming. Basically see https://simonwillison.net/'s whole blog. If I think about it purely on the basis of "in a vacuum, can this help me write programs", it seems like an exciting technology.

I appreciate the support and concern about burnout, but that isn't what inspired this post.

I work from home, and the only real vacation I've had since starting Pixelfed in 2018 was attending FediCon last year.

I'd love to be able to afford to take my partner on a vacation, not to get away from development, but to make new memories with bae.

Working on Pixelfed, Loops and my other projects is a DREAM, I'm sorry if it didn't come off that way, but I'll never burnout from this.
