Folks, we have power. When companies go too far, pushing back can make a real difference.

matters - not just for you, individually, but for all of us, collectively. We can turn the tide if we band together and demand change. We can't give up.

YES! This is AMAZING! 🎉

Keep pushing against abusive practices, and keep fighting for your privacy rights!

IT WORKS! ✊🔒

Edit: Just to be clear, I still encourage everyone to move to better platforms and delete your Discord accounts (even if there was no age verification at all). Discord isn't a privacy-respectful platform.

But this small victory means we should keep pushing for better privacy practices, everywhere.

This means they are listening. This means you have the power to make things better, for yourself and for others.

Celebrate that. And keep pushing back.

E-bikes are amazing.

When I got mine, people asked me what it was like. I said that it was like riding a tandem bike with a friend who was really good at biking.

And it helped me get fit in a gentle, non-discouraging way. Now I can do 15-20mi without assistance (maybe less after this winter).

i wish physical media for PC games would make a comeback. there's something really fun about going to cashies and browsing through a rack of cheap old games, picking one, bringing it home, popping it in the xbox 360/PS2/etc, and having instant access to a game you now own forever. maybe your parents are driving from perth to melbourne and they want to buy you a DS game you can play for the next four days while you're on the road with no internet.

you have a lot more freedom with PC games -- mods, downgrades, save editing -- but unless the game you want is on GOG or itch, you can't just buy and own a game. even with GOG/itch's DRM-free downloads, you still need to download something.

optical media sucks, i know, but couldn't we have read-only USB sticks or something? can't i have a shelf full of my favourite games?
