Mastodon question: any idea why my notifications are stuck at 40? I've viewed them, scrolled through them, etc. - have logged out and logged back in - yet the number will not change or disappear.
It's really hard to hear about how helpful LLMs are when I deal with the opposite multiple times per day now. There are techniques experienced developers use to get better LLM results, but that's not simple and so approximately no one does it. Everyone who talks about how to use them correctly is a rounding error compared to the total number using them.

I was looking into social media policies established by municipalities and came across this article referencing a policy update by the Town of Innisfil, population approximately 44k. The debate over leaving X is likely going on across Canada, and towns or cities are simply stopping their use or struggling to figure out an alternative. Towns in the 25k to 50k population range are prime candidates to convert to Mastodon.
