I get the strong impression that early, learning developers are better served by the tools offered with fantasy game consoles than by professional dev tools these days.

That impression underscores my belief that good dev tools should optimize for joy, experimentation, discovery, learning, and play *first*, and raw throughput second, if it all.

KBS, MBC, SBS 등 지상파방송 3사가 23일 오픈AI를 상대로 저작권 침해 중단과 손해배상 청구 소송을 제기했다. 오픈AI에서 개발하고 상업적으로 운영 중인 생성형 AI 서비스인 챗GPT 학습에 지상파방송 3사의 뉴스콘텐츠를 무단으로 활용했다는 이유에서다. 이들 방송사를 대변하는 한국방송협회는 23일 보도자료를 통해 “자사의 핵심 자산이자 성과에 해당하는 뉴스콘텐츠를 대량으로 무단 이용하고 서비스에 노출하고 있기에 이번 소송을 통해 지식재산권 침해에 대한 법적 책임을 묻고자 한다”고 밝혔다.

@pjfPaul Fenwick And meanwhile all that humanity really has to do, as a whole, to stop it is just to stop pretending it's normal and letting it happen.

We're still at the stage where a majority saying "hey, this isn't ok" can still do something. But they all think it's inevitable, so the nexus continues.
