If you are in the UK, I'd like to beg 5-10 minutes of your time to file comment with the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) about the proposed (toothless) "Interoperability Commitments" from Apple and Google.

These are dramatically weaker guidelines than even the EU's DMA, and Apple (particularly) has been utterly contemptuous there, ducking compliance for more than a year. Why is the UK rewarding scofflaw behaviour over these predatory practices?

I don't have much practice at making my own patterns, I just do a lot of modifying.

Ha. Like with code. I don't think I ever wrote anything from scratch but I once frankensteined nine instances of Matt's Script Archive guestbook together to create a CMS with separate logins per section. Have done a lot of that kind of thing.

Anyway, this one isn't getting the geometric precision of most projects. I'm just charting the drawing.

奨学金のおかげで修士までやれたけど案の定返済しんどくて、しかも30手前あたりで親の入院費が月10万くらいになって、家賃は8万くらいだし、ヤバいなってなったんだよな。貯金が全然貯まらなくて未来が暗くて、会社のおじさんにご飯奢ってもらった時に「お金がないから将来結婚できる気がしない」っつってちょっと泣いて相談したりしていた。そういう若者がいっぱいいるんだろうから、国の偉い人らは彼らのために容赦してやってくれよと思うんだよな
