I have nothing good to say about Anthropic just like I have nothing good to say about Muskrat during his spat with the orange man, or any of the orange man's associates when he turns on them.

Anthropic knowingly partnered with the pentagon. Their other partner, Palantir, is probably the most evil tech company in the world, which, among other things, powers the ICE abductions of members of our communities. I can go on and on.

Please do consider whether your use of "they/them" is a habit for how you generically refer to people, or whether it is a lazy way in which you avoid confronting *your* discomfort in using she/her or he/him pronouns to refer to certain people due to their history or presentation

I didn't need to do all this: download packages.debian.org/sid/amd64/ and extract it with 7-Zip, notepad.exe from there will work fine too!

I never claimed to be very smart, just persistent.

I still owe the world a few posts about my time on Stewart Island Rakiura because that was completely incredibly amazing. But the only internet access I had was through the public library, which has a Starlink antenna on top, which made me feel pretty gross.

Say it with me again, everyone: rural and remote places need internet access that is not controlled by and enriching an American billionaire!!

randomly wondering: Are there file systems that support auto-freeing cache files on demand when disk space runs low? Like how, in memory management, there are ways to mark memory as "please discard these pages/mappings if the OS wants more RAM"?

In memory management, people say "free space is wasted space", and while I know SSDs and free space are a complicated topic, it kinda seems like the idea should also work for disks to some extent?

사람들은 코드에 잘 못 아는 것이 있는데 Ai나 구글링 이용해서 시간 단축해서 개발 빨리하면 끝이고 개발자 줄이면 되겠다고 하는데 이게 시작이야 유지보수, 어떤 버그가 올지도 몰라 이것도 ai가 해결 다한다고?? 그러면 빅테크 제품들이 오류로 개고생 왜 할까?
