Head's up, Mastodon users: There appears to be a coordinated effort to impersonate relatively high-profile people who have accounts on various instances but who have not used them in a while.

I've gotten several follow notifications - and a couple of DMs - from impersonators of people I know. The bogus accounts have lots of underscores in the handles, and they repost items from the past, sometimes years old. If you spot this, please report, do not engage, and then block.

かつては、日本と韓国の試合を国家間の自尊心の問題と考える韓国人が多くいました。しかし、時は流れ、時代は変わります。最近では、過去の世代のように日本に敵対的な人は多くありません。
もちろん、あの…スポーツ選手たちは私たちとは違い、全体主義的な考えを持っているため、国家や民族といったものに対してより敏感なようです。
예전에는 일본과 한국의 경기를 국가간의 자존심 문제로 생각하는 한국인이 많았습니다. 하지만 시간은 계속 흐르고 시대는 변하니까요. 요즘은 과거 세대와 같이 일본에 적대적인 사람은 많지 않습니다.
물론 그.... 운동을 하는 사람들은 우리와는 다르게 전체주의적인 생각을 가지고 있다보니 국가나 민족 이런 것에 좀 더 민감한 것 같습니다.

Rydberg atoms detect clear signals from a handheld radio

For the first time, a team of US researchers has used sensors containing highly excited Rydberg atoms to detect signals from an ordinary handheld radio. Through a careful approach to demodulating the incoming signals, Noah Schlossberger and colleagues at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) were able to recover audio encoded in multiple public radio channels, with promising implications for everyday uses in consumer electronics. The research has been published in Physical Review Applied.

preposterous（プリポステラス） 美術史・美術批評の関貴尚、美術作家の髙嶋晋一、写真家の中川周からなるコレクティブ。行為（action）、出来事（event）、対象（object）と、それらを事後的に記述する言葉との関係を探るために結成された。名前は、「本来後ろにあるべきものが前にあること」を意味するラテン語に派生し、「荒唐無稽」「本末転倒」「不条理」などをあらわす英単語に由来する。結成の下地には、かつて存在した事物や事象、言葉などの消失時点を記述する「失史年表 Nothing Timeline」（『政治の展覧会：世界大戦と前衛芸術』EOS ART BOOKS、2020年）の

I'm deep into refactoring the code today. My goal is to reconstruct all of the server side code.

So, it's back to roulette for today's coding music. It's simple: go to search, pick a hashtag (#Ambient for me, please), then play the top album in the results. They shuffle every time you reload, so there's always something new.

I think we should limit starter kit creation to accounts that are older than 90 days, segment max # of kits per user based on follower count, and limit the # of accounts they can add to each kit based on their follower count.

I could be wrong, and want your feedback on these kit rate limits please!
