졸트라크 하니까 생각나는건데 한석봉이 그렇게 글씨체가 뛰어난 명필이래서 보면 "뭐야 그냥 궁서체잖아" 이지만 사실 굳이따지면 궁서체의 표준을 정립한게 한석봉인거고 더군다나 컴퓨터 폰트가 아닌.. 직접 손으로 적어서 나온 글씨체임을 감안하면 당시에는 정말 센세이션 했겠구나 싶어지는것이다..

Just figured out what was causing an illumos Valgrind test failure. I was getting invalid reads/writes when functions with large locals were being called. I spent a long time digging through the Valgrind new/die stack mechanisms and then the code for creating the stack.

Then I noticed that with stack logging turned on that there was a new current_stack with id 1.

Hang on a sec, this is a monothread test and stack id 0 should be the only stack.

Some digging turned up Solaris "set_stack" that gets called from the syscall wrapper for getsetcontext with flag set to SETUSTACK. That gets called from ld.so for the main thread. That also means the main stack.

That results in a second stack registration for the main stack, with the stack range coming from Solaris rather than the one that we crafted at statup. These values are "wrong" compared to what Valgrind is expecting. Stack registration doesn't check for overlaps it just inserts the stack at the head of a list.

Some time after that there are stack writes and it's this 'new' main stack that gets used for accessibility checks. These accesses trigger false positive errors.

매번 회귀하는 AI트레러 그림 볼때마다 이게 거슬렸는데... 포즈 자체는 되게 흔하잖아요? 근데 눈가에서 콧등 떨어지는 부분이랑 앞머리가 계속 거슬리길래 함 겹쳐봤움요 얼굴 겹친거 데포르메상 그럴 수 있다고 치는데 잔머리, 모자에 달린 장식(각도와 존재자체)이랑...등근육 틀린부분 똑같이 틀린게 존내우시고 이상해,,,저렇게 잘그리는데 내 학부 그림수준의 인체이해도라면 말이 안되잖슴 다른사람 그림체로 학습시키고 포즈 시드를 제 그림으로 넣으면 이렇게 나오긴해서 근냥 의심만 해봄미,,, 갈수록 교묘해지니 다들 조심하세요ㅠ

📣 Neuer Katalog verdoppelt Anzahl der beobachteten Gravitationswellen 📈

Der neueste Katalog der von der LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA-Kollaboration nachgewiesenen Gravitationswellen, GWTC-4, ist nun veröffentlicht. Er enthält 128 neue Kandidaten aus dem vierten Beobachtungslauf. Damit hat sich die bisherige Gesamtzahl mehr als verdoppelt.

Die Aktualisierung des Katalogs beruht auf Daten aus einer neunmonatigen Phase wissenschaftlicher Datenerfassung der Gravitationswellen-Observatorien, die von Mai 2023 bis Januar 2024 dauerte.

Forschende des @mpi_gravMPI for Gravitational Physics und des @unihannoverLeibniz Universität Hannover haben einen wesentlichen Beitrag zu diesem Meilenstein geleistet, der in mehreren Veröffentlichungen in einer Sonderausgabe des Astrophysical Journal Letters vorgestellt wird.

Not to toot my own horn, but the chardet situation really was well timed.

The fact that the relicense is being endorsed by formerly respected OSS figures should give us all pause at the idea that this is yet another fight to sit out. LLMs part of a war on labour. This is class war waged by corporations, and they have found plenty of cheerleaders in the communities they are attacking.

Take action! What’s the problem? The Government has proposed amendments to the Children Wellbeing and Schools Bill, which would give Ministers the power to restrict access to "internet services". This is supposed to give the Government the power to ban under 16s from social media but “internet services" is a very broad definition, which means any online platform can be included. The wording of the amendment means they could do this without even having to prove that these sites are harmful for children.

相手の目的を理解し、そこに至る論理を理解し、その動機を理解する必要があったとしても、その「気持ち」を「理解」してはいけない闘争というものはあります。反差別の闘争、権力を相手にした闘争などがそれにあたります。そうした闘争では「気持ち」の「理解」は批判を弱める機能を果たすのです。
