This week the European Commission published the draft for a guidance document for the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). It is 70 pages, but contains some helpful examples and flowcharts, like this one, making it accessible even to Open Source folks with limited time.

Here: Quick guidance for the question if your FOSS component is in scope for the CRA, and if so, wether you're deemed a steward or manufacturer in regards of the component.

ソフトウェア実行時の不具合の多くはソフトウェアそのものや実行環境との相性によるものですが、ハードウェアが原因で不具合が発生する場合もあります。Firefox開発チームの一員であるガブリエレ・スヴェルト氏は、「Firefoxのクラッシュのうち最大15％はメモリに存在する物理的な欠陥が原因だった」という興味深い調査結果を報告しています。

Does anyone know of any recent studies around the effectiveness of different extrinsic (e.g. financial) vs intrinsic (e.g. community altruism) motivators for open source contributors?

안드로이드 기기는 볼륨 -와 전원 버튼을 길게 누르면 강제 종료 혹은 재시작이 된다. (몇몇 기기는 볼륨 +와 전원버튼이더라)

이는 기기가 정상작동하는 중에도, 프리징이 걸려 멈춰있을때도 작동한다. 즉, 화면이 안들어오거나 멈췄을 때 제일 먼저 시도해봐야하는 프로세스다.

이걸 모르는 사람은 "여러분 저 x됐어요-- 화면이 안켜져요--" 하면서 서비스센터로 달려가고 기사님이 이 수법으로 단박에 켜시더라
