根據伊斯蘭教一向的觀點，穆罕默德既不會讀、也不會寫，穆罕默德應該要是文盲，這樣才能確保《古蘭經》是神的啟示，而不是人為的發明。它是真正的真主話語，而不是人類著述的結果。

另一個《古蘭經》的啟示頒令，從現在起穆罕默德的妻子需要受到穆斯林的帷幕保護，以防有非其親屬的男人窺探她們。而且，因為帷幕只能在室內發揮功效，它很快就裁減成可在戶外使用的迷你版，即面紗。

有關帷幕的啟示顯然只以先知的妻子為對象，並因此賦予面紗極高的尊榮。在接下來的數十年裡，它被新崛起的伊斯蘭貴族婦女所採用，最終還被伊斯蘭基本教義派強加到所有的婦女身上。

가끔 전문가가 진짜 말하는 거인데도 그냥 불신으로 구충제 항암치료와 같이 잘못된 선택을 하는 경우가 많지만, 의사나 변호사와 같은 전문가 중에 고객과 이해관계 충돌로 불신하는 사람이 많다고 생각

Time zones are hard. As a well-known Computerphile video so eloquently puts it: What you learn after dealing with time zones, is that what you do is you put away your code, you don’t try and write anything to deal with this. You look at the people who have been there before you. You look at the first people, the people who have dealt with this before, the people who have built the spaghetti code, and you thank them very much for making it open source, and you give them credit, and you take what they have made and you put it in your program, and you never ever look at it again. Because that way lies madness. The Canadian province of British Columbia recently decided to switch to permanent daylight time. I wanted to see if this update made it to the IANA Time Zone Database yet. Luckily, we can now view updates to this database as commits on GitHub. And there it was in the news file! I’ve perused the tz repository before, and I always learn something interesting. For example, during WWII Britain adopted double summer time, adding two hours to the clock in the summer and one hour in the winter. The bulk of the comments in the database are dedicated to documenting this extensive history of time zone changes across the world.

마스토돈 안 하는 실친이 영국에서 유학하다 4월에 졸업하는데 비행기편 구할 수 있으려나요. 러시아 우크라이나 영공 막힌 상태에서 이번에 이란 이라크 영공도 막혔고, 남은 건 심지어 아르메니아 아제르바이잔(이 쪽도 국경지대 한정 여행금지인 건 아실 테고). 영공 단순 통과는 여권법 위반이 아니지만 비행사들이 알아서 우회하는 것과는 아예 별개의 문제라서.

Age verification (or age-gating) laws generally require online services to check, estimate, or verify all users’ ages—often through invasive tools like ID checks, biometric scans, or other dubious “age estimation” methods—before granting them access to certain online content or services.  Governments in the U.S. and around the world are increasingly adopting these restrictive measures in the name of protecting children online. But in practice, these systems create dangerous new forms of surveillance, censorship, and exclusion.  Technologically, the age verification process can take many forms: collection and analysis of government ID, biometric scans, algorithmic or AI-based behavioral or user monitoring, digital ID, the list goes on. But no matter the method, every system demands users hand over sensitive and immutable personal information that links their offline identity to their online activity. Once that valuable data is collected, it can easily be leaked, hacked, or misused. (Indeed, we’ve already seen several breaches of age verification providers.) EFF has long warned against age-gating the internet. Age verification technology itself is often inaccurate and privacy-invasive. These restrictive mandates strike at the foundation of the free and open internet. They are tools of censorship, used to block people from viewing or sharing information that the government deems “harmful” or “offensive.” And they create surveillance systems that critically undermine online privacy, chill access to vital online communities and resources, and burden the expressive rights of adults and young people alike.
