it says:

puzzled, you consult the dictionary.

fatal: causing death. leading to failure or disaster.

error: a mistake. the state or condition of being wrong in conduct or judgement.

is starting gcc without arguments equivalent to making a mistake, a wrong action that leads to deadly failure or disaster? did you just kill someone? did you commit a felony? now you are panicking. you turn off the pc.

AI has now damaged almost every part of a reasonable OSS stack, from systemd to Python itself.

We need to understand that blast radius, to understand where and how energies can be spent, whether it's reverting that damage, working with governance to prevent and contain damage, or whether it's forking damaged projects entirely.

We cannot afford the luxury of time on this one. We need to understand the problem **now**.

맥북 네오로 오버워치를 중옵 60프레임으로 돌렸다는 소식을 접했는데 x86 -> ARM 에뮬레이션임에도 이정도 사양이면 대단한거 아닌가 싶음. 이게 오버워치가 최적화를 잘한 부분도 있어서 그런 것도 있지만 네이티브 버전 나오면 꽤 괜찮게 돌아갈 것 같다. 물론 실제로 플레이하는건 추천하진 않는데 에뮬레이션이라 완벽하지 않은 것도 있고 중간중간 프레임 드랍도 존재한다고 하네요. x.com/mweinbach/st...

We're here together precisely to fight against these techbros, to resist tech monopolies and surveillance capitalism, to help people become autonomous and assure basic human values as privacy and solidarity.

We should be able to give donations without becoming part of the authoritarian tech stack? Well that's what we work on together. So let's hope OpenCollective reverts course.

한국 트렌디 드라마가 소재에 대한 리서치를 너무나 소홀히 하는 한편, 중국 트렌디 드라마는 정보를 너무 때려넣는 경향이 좀 있다. 어머니 보시는 드라마에서 주인공들이 태양광 사업을 하는 유니콘 기업을 하고있는데, 투자자 상대하며 자기 사업내용에 대해 드라마에서 5분 넘게 설명하고 앉았다. 태양광 사업 홍보하려고 정부에서 투자한 드라마인줄(솔직히 아니란 확신이 없다)

lol gcc's tail call implementation is extraordinarily squirrely, it happily inlines functions that do tail calls but then dies because it fails to turn the inlined tail calls into regular calls. (clang fails in different ways :P)
