One of the must haves is being able to use Dank Monk w/ ligatures and italics.

The other strong desire is no first party or default on support for GenAI.

I don't really like vim key bindings so I think that rules out helix.

It's been a long time since I used Emacs but I'm not opposed to doing it again if there is a modern macOS distribution with font ligatures and support for lsp based tools out of the box or with little configuration.

2026년은 로보택시 서비스의 역사에 가장 의미 있는 한 해가 될 듯합니다.

- 웨이모는 미국 내의 무인 상용 서비스 도시를 현재 5개에서 10개 이상으로 늘리고 런던과 동경 등에서 해외 서비스를 시작할 듯. 현재 3천대 이상의 무인 로보택시 운행 중.

- 테슬라는 조만간 무인 상용 로보택시 서비스를 오스틴을 시작으로 미국 내 여러 도시로 확장할 듯. Cybercab도 하반기에는 투입될 것으로 예상.

- 우버는 모든 로보택시 회사들과 제휴해 전세계로 서비스를 확장하는 플랫폼 전략을 본격화. 물론 테슬라는 여기에 빠져있지만 우버는 포기하지 않을 듯. 웨이모, Zoox, Lucid/Nuro, Motional, Wayve/Nissan, 폭스바겐, Pony ai, WeRide, Avride, Momenta 등이 참여 중인데 연말까지 계획대로 잘 진행되면 전세계적으로 제일 많은 도시에서 로보택시 서비스를 제공하게 될 듯.

사실 공채가 없어지는게 얼마나 큰 일인지 공감이 전혀 안되긴 함. 개인적인 경험에 따르면 업계엔 공채가 존재하지 않았고 시작부터 수시밖에 없었음. 그러다가 업계 전체가 성장하며 잠깐 공채가 나타났고 현대에는 이 제도를 유지한 극소수의 기업만 남음. ...... 이렇다보니 공채가 없어지는게 취업시장에 얼마나 큰 영향을 주는지 말만 들어선 공감이 안됨.
