High temperatures in and around Alaska in May. Complete lack of really warm weather. The highest reliable temperature in the state 71F (Ft. Yukon, Tanana, others) is the lowest May Alaska high temp since 1971. Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay this is the first May since obs began in 1969 without a temp above freezing.
