Book 21 of 2025: Where I Come From by Rick Bragg.
I don't personally believe in spending a lot of time being nostalgic for the past. But Mr. Bragg has a decent storyteller's knack, and I do like a good Southern storyteller. And he knows how to write about dogs.
He reads his own books in the audiobook versions. I don't normally like that, but like Lewis Grizzard, he has the voice and cadence to do it right for these stories.
