Apocalypse Hotel is nice. Sure "nice" isn't something your intermediate school English teacher likes you to use, but now I consider it one of the highest compliments. Congruent, comforting, in a post apocalyptic utopia kind of way.
Like, a bit Atelier Dusk series mood, but also with genre shifting, robots building a community based on the memories of one benevolent hotel human owner, and a family of refugee tanuki who kept on shapeshifting into human forms for... Idk, respect for the robot maid who wanted to hang out with humans again?
