Truly the worst news. Uli was one of the first people in the community I met (2006!), and was a wonderful person.

Fond, ridiculous, memories of us overloading the wifi at the youth hostel we were staying at for WWDC and setting up manual dhcp over audio carrier (shouting “who has xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx?” in the common room).

He'll be sorely missed.
