We are still not getting to grips with homelessness.

As Anton Roberts (MMU) argues what is needed is a public health approach to homelessness with a clear 'housing first' approach.

Not only is this more compassionate towards the individuals who find themselves without a permanent (established) dwelling, it also makes clear economic sense.

But that *would* require our political class to see the homeless as deserving of help not merely feckless.
