’Denmark Switches.’ A national campaign to collectively move off Big Tech. March 20th is Big Switch Day. I’ve named my goal now. I’m already almost deMicrosofted, except for my photo archive. I moved to Libre & Tuta mail and have been purging photos as I await the release of Tuta drive. Now I’m committing myself to just get the photos off OneDrive and on to my computer, that I own, in my house, by March 20th. Then I’ll delete Microsoft. Then I’ll boast about it on the Fediverse.

A ’New year resolution card’ from the Danmark Skifter campaign that you fill out to name your goal – a nice way to make yourself commit. They all begin ’I 2026 vil jeg gerne skifte …’ ’In 2026, I want to switch …’ Mine here is a bright mustard flash card with the campaign logo and says: ’In 2026 I want to switch completely. I’ve already switched from Outlook to Tuta and Office to Libre. In 2026, I will switch from OneDrive to hard drive and EU open-source drive.' Now I'm sharing it, so now I have to bloody well do it.
