Look at what they have been doing to Venezuelans.
Look at how the Trump administration has still not complied with an order from the SUPREME COURT
Remember that Trump has directly said he wants to "deport" US citizens
Yes, they have the power. And in the places they don't, they are assembling it.

@cwebberChristine Lemmer-Webber I wonder if it would be helpful to reframe the question "do they really have the power?" to show that they do not have legitimate power to do these terrible things but the lack of legal, legitimate power is not stopping the corrupt use of power.
