Nalbound mittens! My first nalbound garment that I actually want to wear out and about. The right mitten is a little wonky, as it was my first attempt. I might make a third mitten following the same basic technique I learned for my left mitten, but for now I am very pleased

Two hands wearing handmade mittens. The finger and hand section is made of yarn that makes yellow and orange splotches, and the thumb and wrist is made if yarn that makes blue and green splotches. Taking this photo was difficult. I carefully balanced my lineageOS tablet on the top of a server rack, set the camera timer to ten seconds, got into a weird forward leaning crouch to keep my toes out of frame, then carefully pushed on the camera button where there was a gap in the stitches so my skin could touch the touchscreen. I then quickly rested my hands on the top of a router, angled in a way to keep the whole mitten in frame, and held my breath until the photo was taken.
