The death of Hind Rajab

Hind was fleeing Gaza City with her family when their car appeared to come under fire from an Israeli tank. There is a recording of Hind's 15 year old cousin Lalan speaking on the phone to a dispatcher at the Palestinian Red Crescent
They are shooting at us.
The tank is next to us

Then there is gunfire and screams and the line cuts out

Hind was now trapped in the car with the dead bodies of her family. She was 6 years old. Hind stayed on the line with the ambulance service for three hours.

I'm so scared, please come, Come take me. You will come and take me?

For three hours

The Palestinian Red Crescent negotiated with the Israel army for safe passage so an ambulance crew could go an save Hind.
Agreement was reached and an ambulance crew was dispatched

They were never heard £rom again.

Hind was never heard from again.
