Today's lunar eclipse in Penzing was accompanied by a lot of haze in the atmosphere. This wouldn't be a problem if you just wanted to observe this natural spectacle. But it's not ideal for taking pictures. The good thing about living in the country is that you don't have to go far to escape the usual light pollution. So I was able to take the pictures right outside my front door.
