“Hit dogs holler,” “hit a nerve” whatever the kids call it nowadays.

People who pop up centering themselves in the middle of some crisis (that their parents and best friends created) yelling “BUT WAIT NOT MEEE” are definitely telling on themselves in several ways.

@ErickaSimone@mastodon.social I genuinely just assume that white people who don't just shrug off/nod along to "White people this and that" kind of stuff are just... probably actually on the side I don't want to be on but are just wanting to keep it to themselves or otherwise save face while being blatantly racist in their actual behavior?
