Everyone here can see the Cuba I've experienced less than one year ago. Friends in Luxemburg, who participated in a brigade in late 2025 a few months after mine, already told me a different story. What I hear from the people of Cuba is terrible: a complete power outage, no more garbage trucks able to pick up trash due to gas shortages, food and health crisis.
Let it be known that the collapse of the Cuban system was always brought about by the American hegemon. Cuba shall never be remembered as something that thrived in a capitalist world, but despite of it. Despite the sanctions, despite the unprecedented international blockade by the largest economy and military on earth, a small island protected its success in education, healthcare, and quality of life, as something that was once merely seen as the colonizer's plantation.
Some day a man will approach you and tell you that socialism can never work and cite Cuba as an example. It is your job to beat that man to death with your bare hands.
